These are imperfect Scandos sent to us by Offi, returns, and/or floor models. These Scandos have "dings" on the edges, slight dents, or shallow scratches.  Images are representative of these items, except as specified. These items are not returnable, due to the high cost to ship them, but we're happy to send more images before purchase.

We currently have only one table: a Birch Scando that's warped. It would be stable on a soft surface, but rocks on a hard surface. It is otherwise perfect. Only buy this non-returnable table if you will be using it on a soft surface. Here is a short video showing the degree of warp on a hard surface:

There is currently one Walnut Scando. It's in worse cosmetic shape than the birch version, but without warping. The last 3 images show the damage: shallow scratches from one side to the other on one side of the top surface, and couple of small dings on the bottom of one "leg". This is priced the same as the birch only because it's a more popular finish, there are no more Walnut Scandos that aren't damaged, and it costs hundreds of dollars to ship these large/heavy items.

Designer Eric Pfeiffer has created an heirloom quality table accommodating the wants and needs of both the young and young at heart. For the very young it's a low, soft, and inviting form that provides an aid to help in the process of standing up and negotiating furniture for the first time. The low casual stature of the table gives older kids an inviting space to gather around. For adults this rational form is an elegant and sensuous table that provides an effortless solution for smaller living spaces. In addition, the useful storage pouch creates a convenient place to keep those magazines and books close at hand.
